Our Mission

Maryland School Bus Contractors Association (MSBCA) is made up of members from around the State. Many are full-time bus owner/operator contractors, while others partner school busing with other professions. Regardless of our structural differences, one thing is certain of each MSBCA member: We believe strongly in safe and efficient pupil transportation. We strive daily to improve the quality of pupil transportation and, in so doing, have established a collective voice in front of the Maryland General Assembly as well as on the national level on Capitol Hill in nearby Washington, DC. Our objectives as an Association are as follows:

• Assist members with mutual business challenges and concerns related to school bus transportation.
• Collect, distribute and communicate industry news and information via our Website and Newsletter.
• Advocate and represent our members regarding school transportation issues at both the state and federal levels.
• Work to improve state and local programs and quality of pupil transportation in the state.
• Promote efficient and safe pupil transportation in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Foster and provide quality leadership for the improvement and advancement of pupil transportation.
• Conduct engaging industry events, meetings and an annual convention for our members.
• Work to achieve 100% membership in the organization statewide.
